In elementary school I was given my first camera, a Kodak disk 4000 which had the film in the form of a flat disk (I know I am aging myself). Ever since then, I’ve carried a camera with me wherever I go. Serving as the designated photographer for friends and family, I found myself loving the craft.
My parents swayed me to study marketing, which to me was the creative side of business. After many years working for fortune 500 companies, startups and my own car rental business, I found myself desiring a second career in photography. I took photography classes in the evenings & my professor told me “there is a story being created in the pictures that you take,” and that lead me here.
Here I am in elementary school with my first camera, the Kodak Disk 4000. This was the beginning of my photography obsession. Can you imagine, I still have the camera.
I am blessed to do what I love, creating memories to last a lifetime for families. Whether it is planned or unscripted, I strive to capture the core of emotions, creating a story to illustrate the spirit of the moment while preserving it to be treasured forever.
Because of my many years of marketing experience, I also capture images companies can use for all their marketing channels, including social media, marketing collateral, websites and more. As a marketing executive, I have hired photographers for my business needs, so I know exactly what a company needs to convey a message. To combine both of my talents into my passion is a dream come true.
I am a mother of a toddler girl and married to an amazing man, to whom I credit are the motivation to start my photography business. I also have a rescue dog, and naturally love all animals. Besides photography, I enjoy cooking, traveling and growing orchids. Living in South Florida most of my life, we have this amazing color canvas called South Florida where pictures can go from beautiful to brilliant to WOW! If we can imagine it, we can capture it.
